Sadly, Memorial Stadium is no longer. This much is true.
However, if you know where to look, you can find traces of the old
house that Brooks built. These directional signs pointing the way
to 33rd Street are very fast disappearing, so look quick. Here,
then is a look at some of the last vestiges of the world's largest
outdoor insane asylum.

This blue and green tourist sign at 28th Street and Sisson Street
proudly points the way to Memorial Stadium. Beyond this, no other
signs are seen for the stadium.

Until late 2002, this sign still displayed proudly on the Jones Falls
Expressway Southbound near 28th Street. It has since been removed
to show only the Zoo.

Until late 2002, this sign still hung on the Howard Street Bridge to
advise those travelling Northbound on the Jones Falls Expressway.
It has since been taken down.
