Nice work. It makes it seem like SEPTA can afford those nice colorful Twinvision Chroma used by some systems in California

I've always liked inclement weather transit imagery. Rain and snow are as normal an occurance as sunshine and deserve their place in transit photographs. The versatility of the images are as versatile as the photographers who brave nature's fury to capture them.

It was a happy accident that I captured the water splashing from both front and rear wheels. The colors turned out more vivd than I anticipated and this is a rare example of an inclement weather image looking better in color than in b&w.

I cropped out most fore-and background dead space but kept just enough (on the left side of the image) to convey the degree to which it was raining.
Everyone wants to be normal but no one wants to be average.

Metrobus New Flyer D40LFR 6216 laying over at Greenbelt Metro station while a Metrobus New Flyer DE40LFR zooms by.

After a memorable and eventful D.C. day trip, Nabinut and I waited for our B30. It showed up, and had about a 20 minute layover. So we killed time by taking shots of whatever came into the loop. I was in the mood to experiment, and so set my ISO to 100, much to the chagrin of Nabinut. I was thinking that I could make some kind of magic happen.

So we both played around with camera settings and I ended up taking 38 shots of 6216. Of that 38, less than 10 are what I consider to be acceptable for presentation. My experimentation paid off however, because the ones that turned out are exceptional. Nabinut had success as well.

It's difficult to convey why I like this shot; but I know it has everything to do with the juxtaposition of the still coach with the coach in motion.

I'm always looking to step up my game and shots like this indicate that I'm on the right track.
