Fading Wall Advertisements
A once common alternative to Billboards, these advertisements for local businesses were once common.  Now faded, one must usually strain to make them out, if they can find one!  This page will tell you where they can still be found, and will document a few that have since vanished since the site was started in 2001.
Hanging Neon Signs
Ubiquitous in the 1940's and 1950's, this style of storefront advertising has grown incredibly scarce. Though few remaining examples still glow, this page will tell you where the find the hulks of the era that still persevere.
Stand Out Signs
Large and Bulky, a handful of particularly tacky roadside signs of this nature persist in selected areas of the region.  Like to see some?  Visit this page!
Old Product Logos
In this modern world, it's the old product logos that are the most refreshing to observe.  When you seek real vintage refreshment, visit this page!
Often thought of as an overbearing nuissance by many, advertising in its many physical forms does provide a great deal of variety and color to the local landscape.  All too often, however, these ads present a bland uniformity themselves, repated with a "Cookie cutter" repetition across the landscape.  As a result, exceptions to this uniformity are indeed a refreshing change to the norms.  Naturally, the most intriguing differences are seen within the ads of old, in the form of old product logos, storefronts, and hanging signs.  Their presence is few and far between, but when observed, do posess a striking presence when observed.
